When is Systeme.io’s free plan enough?
Paying is useful when you need extra capacity or a feature your setup requires. If your business fits the free limits, start by testing there.
Start with the detailed plan limits
The detailed pricing table checked on September 30, 2026 lists Free at $0 per month, Startup at $17, Webinar at $47, and Unlimited at $97. Annual prices, temporary promotions, and taxes are outside this comparison.

The page’s FAQ and “all plans” text contain broader statements that conflict with some table entries. We use the detailed table, including its 500-student Free limit. Confirm any disputed limit with the provider before moving your business.
Contacts alone do not decide your plan
A creator with 1,200 contacts and one course might fit Free. A creator with the same list and three courses exceeds the one-course Free limit and may need Startup. A single evergreen webinar points to Webinar or above. All examples assume the other capacities and features fit.
The least expensive plan that fits today is only a starting point. Count active funnels, total funnel steps, automation rules, email campaigns, workflows, and custom domains. Check tags, websites, communities, CRM pipelines, and any other resources you use directly with the provider.
What are customers paying for each month?
The subscription keeps their course delivery, contacts, marketing pages, and workflows operating at the capacity their business needs. The detailed table lists unlimited email sends and file storage across the four plans, with resource limits that vary by tier. Paid plans increase those limits; Webinar also provides evergreen webinar capacity.
Systeme.io lists 0% platform transaction fees. Payment processors can still charge their own fees, and connected services may have separate costs. “Unlimited” does not remove the need to check terms, integration limits, and operational requirements.
Test the smallest realistic setup first
Build one opt-in, one email sequence, one product checkout, and one course lesson. Use a test customer account to check the complete journey. If your trial works, price the plan your real business needs before migrating the rest.
Free is a valid result. Our calculator recommends it when the entered capacities fit. A referral commission does not justify paying for capacity you do not need.
Watch capacity after a downgrade
Do not assume a paid setup will keep functioning unchanged on Free. Systeme.io’s help centre describes restrictions when an account is over its allowed limits. Check its current account restriction guidance before downgrading.
