COST CHECK

What does your course + email + funnel stack really cost?

Three small bills can become one large overhead. A useful comparison starts with the costs you can actually remove, rather than a platform’s advertised price.

Turn every subscription into a monthly number

Use your invoice, including your actual discount. A $468 annual email subscription is $39 a month for comparison. If your next renewal has a different price, use that upcoming price when deciding whether to stay.

A monthly equivalent helps compare plans, but it does not mean you can cancel an annual commitment and recover the unused months. Check cancellation dates and refund rules before counting immediate savings.

Separate what you can cancel from what you keep

Course hosting, email sequences, and opt-in funnels are possible consolidation candidates. Your accounting tool, video editor, specialist learning platform, or custom integration may still be needed. Open “Fine-tune this estimate,” uncheck any subscription you plan to retain, and enter your additional retained bills there.

The calculation: current monthly bills − retained bills − replacement plan = monthly subscription difference.

A worked example, with an honest catch

Suppose course hosting costs $79, email software $39, and landing pages $29 per month. That is $147. If your entered capacities fit Systeme.io Startup at $17 per month and you cancel all three, the difference is $130 per month, or $1,560 over twelve months.

If you keep the $39 email tool, the new stack costs $56 and the difference falls to $91 per month. These are illustrative bills, not quoted competitor prices or a promise that the tools are interchangeable.

Include the cost of moving

Budget for your own time, contractors, rebuilding pages, importing approved contacts, and testing checkout and student access. A $390 one-time move takes three months to recover at $130 monthly savings and reduces the first-year estimate to $1,170. Subscription overlap, taxes, and payment processor fees can reduce that further.

Check the limits that will matter next

A growing contact list or course catalogue can change the plan you need. The calculator checks contacts, courses, funnels, students, automation rules, email campaigns, workflows, domains, funnel steps, and evergreen webinars. Other limits and feature fit still need review on the official pricing page.

Try the tool with your current numbers, then with your expected needs over the next year. If savings disappear in the growth scenario, the move may still simplify your work, but cost alone is a weaker reason to switch.

Use your own numbers. Open the software savings calculator and check a stack that fits your business.
